Development team

The accomplished team behind Selo have worked closely with Auckland Council and experts in architecture and urban design, transit engineering, landscape design and interiors to realise this visionary project.

Developers Aedifice Property Group

BDG Architects has been operating in Auckland for more than 40 years, with a long-standing reputation and loyal client base, a testament to their integrity and professionalism.

Having worked so successfully with them on their latest projects in West Auckland, Orchard Lane and Cherry Lane, BDG was Aedifice Property Group's first choice to collaborate with on Selo. The BDG design team, led by Architect Ben Collings, shared Aedifice's vision to transform the site into a vibrant, connected and unique place that merges with and contributes to the Glen Eden neighbourhood.

Civix is a multidisciplinary company consisting of planning, engineering and surveying.

Director and Senior Planner Nick Mattison and his dedicated team have worked closely with the Aedifice team since 2012 on projects ranging from boutique townhouse developments and apartment buildings, to complex, master-planned developments such as Selo, overseeing projects from inception through to final completion.

Established over 20 years ago, Urban Solutions is an engineering project management consultancy.

With the extent and diversity of infrastructure required to create the village, a consultancy with the breadth of expertise of Urban Solutions is essential. Director Lorenzo Canal has assembled a team of high-calibre project management professionals to initiate, plan, procure and deliver this project to the highest of standards.

Chancellor Construction, with over 10 years local building history, is a professional project management company in Auckland.

Using sustainable building practices, Wayne Zeng and his team are turning the vision for Selo into a reality.

Helen Mellsop is an award-winning registered NZILA landscape architect with a depth of experience in both the private and public sectors. Her ethos is to design landscape solutions that respond to place and context and are environmentally sustainable.

A project of the nature and scope of Selo demanded a sympathetic vision to create an environment from which a brand new community could emerge, fully formed. Her holisitic approach and particular skills in the design of both residential and commercial developments, public open spaces and playgrounds made her a natural fit for this project.

Urban Design Ian Monro

Ian Munro is an experienced urban planner and urban designer who has worked extensively across Auckland and throughout New Zealand. He regularly lectures in urban planning and design at the University of Auckland and is also a Chair of the Auckland Council Urban Design Panel.

His uncompromising standards and vision for urban living in Auckland have helped to shape Selo into a development that will promote community and sustainability.
